HOW TO PLAY:
Most of you will be members of the town(good guys, and the remainder are the Mafia(bad guys). With the exception of the members of the Mafia, you will not know who is who. The goal of the game is to identify and wipe out all members of the opposing party. All of you will be PM’d a role, and your alignment (either Townsfolk or Mafia).
Each player has been given a role (some with their own special ability). I will explain what your ability does over pm. You are not obliged to reveal what your role is to the other players, nor will I do so in my updates. Then again, there’s nothing stopping you, so if you feel that it may help prove your innocence, go ahead – just keep in mind that this might possibly help the Mafia effort as well. Likewise, go ahead and lie about who you are, if you feel that it might be most beneficial for your cause. To use your ability, PM me during the night phase. DO NOT post it in the thread. The only exception to this is the Mayor(who you will elect), which I will explain further if he chooses to use his bonus day ability in the game thread.
The game is split into two segments, Day and Night. The game begins at night, starting with the death of a townie. From there, we go to Daytime. During the day, all players (Mafia and Townie alike) post in the thread, deciding who to kill off. Lynching is the only way for the Townies to kill the Mafia, so be sure to examine voting patterns of your fellow players. I might also provide clues in the updates, though try not to rely on them too much, as there might be a red herring or two.
All voting and discussion is to occur in the thread itself. Townies are to discuss who is Mafia, and Mafia members should be trying to bluff/convince/blend in, and generally try not to get voted for. To vote, type Vote: Username (in bold, so it’s easier to count). You can also change your vote, by typing Change Vote: Username. You can also choose to vote for No Lynching but that might help to get the Mafia closer to victory. Remember, you must post in the thread for you vote to be counted. You can also abstain from voting, which means I just do not include you in the number crunching.
Elimination occurs whenever a person obtains 50% of the vote. Once a person dies, I will reveal his alignment and role. Also if discussion slows I may impose a deadline and if no consensus has been reached on a lynch that day phase when the deadline ends, it is the same as a no lynch.
Night falls after somebody is lynched or you choose a no lynch. During this time, the Mafia can discuss who they want to kill next (using whatever form of communication appeals to them) – if anyone at all. Abilities are also used during this time. To use an ability, simply pm me and if it is an ability that needs a response(like if you are a cop and decided to investigate player a), I would then have to pm you back with the results of your ability. You can trust that anything remotely important will be covered in some way in the night update.
Night ends once I post the results of all the night actions and the cycle repeats itself(back to day phase. The citizens win if all Mafia members are dead, and vice versa. Remember, this is a team effort, so if you think sacrificing someone may help your cause, go ahead.
RULES:
Trash talk, accuse, call out other players if you want, but if you’re going to vote, at least state some kind of reason as to why you’re doing so.
Though posting is not compulsory, I’d like to see some active participation. If not I will be a sad panda.
Once you are dead, you stay dead, and may not participate until the game is over. You may also not advise the remaining players on what to do – besides, to prevent cheating, I will not provide the dead with any additional information than they were if they were still alive. Of course, I’m willing to listen to your theories as to what’s going on. Likewise, I'd appreciate if those not taking part try not help those playing, though general comments on how things are going would be welcomed in this Sign Up Thread.
Other than the Mafia, all players may not discuss game plan, your role, or alignment outside the thread. Of course, I can’t enforce this, but I believe secretly revealing information amongst each other would spoil the game, so try not to do so.

I borrowed that from EWB, hope it explains the concept of Mafia well enough.
Now what I want here is for people to sign up and express their interest in what setting they want their game in.
The choices are:
-CorpX Mafia
-WWF '92 Mafia
-The Thing Mafia
-other(state your personal theme)
So post to express your interest and also make note of the setting you are most interested in.
